I grew up in Gary, Indiana but have lived in Kalamazoo since 2003. Schooled in music, I made my living working with computers – most recently for a multi-billion-dollar “Beltway Bandit” consulting company. Now, I find time to do a little singing, direct a little choir, and to write some music and a verse or two.
     I have always loved telling jokes and stories. In fact, my first book, One In A Hundred, got its start when I began recording funny things I had observed during the time I spent in the Army Security Agency from 1966 to 1970. Friends and family had heard the stories for years. They were hopeful that since I put the stories into print they wouldn’t have to hear them any more.
     There are, however, a lot more stories floating around between my ears.
     And now, with the experience of my walk from Sneedville to Kalamazoo, in the summer of 2007 in print, I’m casting around to see what comes next.
